İklim değişikliği, tarım ve gıda güvenliği için küresel bir sınav niteliğinde. Bu kongre, bitki bilimi, tarım teknolojileri ve sürdürülebilirlik alanlarında çalışan siz değerli akademisyenler ve öğrenciler için, en son araştırmaları paylaşma ve yenilikçi çözümler üretme fırsatı sunuyor. Samsun’un verimli topraklarında, Karadeniz’in ilham verici atmosferinde bir araya gelerek, iklim değişikliğine dayanıklı bitkiler ve tarım sistemleri üzerine bilimsel bir yolculuğa çıkıyoruz.
Üç gün boyunca, alanında öncü araştırmacıların sunumları ve tartışma panelleri ile iklim değişikliğine karşı tarımsal adaptasyonun geleceğini şekillendirecek fikirleri keşfedeceğiz. Özellikle genç araştırmacı ve öğrencilerimizin yenilikçi bakış açıları, bu kongrenin bilimsel zenginliğini artıracak.Kongre kapsamında sunulan bildirilere, Annals of Applied Biology (SCI-E,Q2) dergisinin “Plant Adaptations to Extreme Environments” özel sayısında yayınlanma fırsatı sunulacaktır.

Welcome to the International Congress on “Crop Adaptation to Climate Change – Strengthening Crops for a Changing World”, hosted by ReCrop and Ondokuz Mayıs University in Samsun, Türkiye, from 17-19 September 2025!
Climate change presents a critical challenge to agriculture and global food security. This congress brings together academic researchers and students in the fields of crop science, agricultural technologies, and sustainability to share cutting-edge research and develop innovative solutions. Set in the fertile lands of Samsun, amidst the inspiring ambiance of the Black Sea, we embark on a scientific journey to advance resilient crops and farming systems for a changing world.
Over the next three days, through keynote presentations, discussion panels, and workshops led by leading researchers, we will explore transformative ideas to shape the future of agricultural adaptation to climate change. The fresh perspectives of young researchers and students will undoubtedly enrich the scientific discourse of this congress. Papers presented within the scope of the congress will be offered the opportunity to be published in the special issue of Annals of Applied Biology (SCI-E, Q2) journal ‘Plant Adaptations to Changing Climate’.
